Asiya Nasir, founder of Utopian Enterprise Business Solutions, builds strong foundations for newly established non-profit organizations and takes existing non-profit enterprises to the next level.

The founding of her non-profit Journey to becoming an Extraordinarily Strong, Successful, Individual with Courageous, Aspirations, known as J.E.S.S.I.C.A Cares, coupled with her background in business development, staff management and financial services, makes her uniquely qualified to assist non-profit managers with setting, achieving and exceeding their goals.

Her approach is vastly different than that of other consultants. She doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans. Instead of simply managing strategies and offering suggestions, Asiya helps her clients learn to enjoy the journey as it unfolds. This leads to greater understanding of the entire process and ultimately deeper success in a shorter period of time.

Asiya provides support through each step of the process. From the initial consultation meeting and goal development stage to strategic planning sessions and plan implementation phase, she is passionate about helping clients turn their dreams into reality.

As a specialist in the business development field with more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Asiya’s knowledge and guidance are invaluable.

She coaches, mentors and inspires staff members to give 100 percent on the job every day. Her enthusiasm for her work and ability to inspire others lead to maximum performance for her clients. In addition to providing staff and volunteer resources, she also conducts fundraising workshops and board development.

She knows what it takes to operate a successful non-profit organization and pushes her clients to expect the unexpected and become comfortable with the uncomfortable. As her client’s biggest advocate, she does what it takes to help their vision take shape.

Asiya is widely respected and well known for her non-profit efforts. Asiya become certified as a Fundraising Specialist and Grant Writer in 2020. She self-published her first book, Mirror Mirror On The Wall…Who Am I After All, in December 2018 and has been a featured author for various nonprofit newsletters such as Project Rousseau and Angel Wings Bridge Foundation.

Asiya has also received many honors.

Most recently the Berkely College Women’s Empowerment Award in 2021, the United Nations Woman of Impact Award in January 2019. In addition, she was presented with the P.A.T.H. Award from Ma’oon Inc. in June 2018 and has earned numerous local community achievement awards, including County College of Morris: EOF Mentor Program (2016); Face My Abuse: Women Who Make A Difference (2015); Morristown Neighborhood House: Appreciation for Service and Dedication to the African American Community (2012); Berkeley College: Featured Success Student/Changing Lives for 80 years (2011); and Project ReDirect Family Services: Excellence in Business and Community Service Award (2011).
